Please make sure you follow current Government guidelines when you book a table. Under the new Government guidelines, please make sure you only attend your booking at Carriages with the same household or support bubble. Face coverings must be worn when you are not seated at your table, this includes when using restrooms and walking around the premises.
Please note tables of two will be booked in to Lancelot unless a Private Compartment upgrade is requested due to social distancing measures.
Any vouchers that expired after the 1st of March 2020 will be extended until December 2021 due to COVID-19.
Any vouchers that are purchased from the 7th of September 2020 will be valid for 9 months.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing measures our three carriages now have set booking times, we are also operating a one-way system throughout the premise. For the safety and reassurance of all of our customers and staff, we will be temperature checking all customers that enter our premise and dine in our carriages. Please note if you would like to visit our booking office in person, face masks are required. Our Carriages Afternoon Tea experience lasts for two hours each sitting.
We have removed the use of the tables of two in Louis, so we can currently only cater for parties of 3/4 in our Louis Carriage. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Booking enquiry’s will be confirmed via email or telephone. All bookings are provisional until we confirm the booking via email or phone.
We require a 50% deposit with each reservation to secure your booking which can be paid over the phone. This deposit will be deducted from the final bill amount. Any booking cancellations may lose their deposit money, 24 hour cancellation policies apply.
Vouchers can be purchased over the phone or in person. If you are dining with us with a voucher, the voucher will be used as the deposit. Any booking cancellations may lose their voucher, 24 hour cancellation policies apply.

You can choose from our light and airy open carriages or book one of our more private four-seater compartments. (There is a supplement of £20 per compartment with comfy Pullman seats or £15 for other compartments).
There will be a 10% table surcharge for parties of 9 or above who wish to be seated on a table together in Lancelot.
Our venue is accessible to wheelchairs, buggies and prams, however as Louis and Oliver are Pullman style Carriages the corridors are narrower than today’s train corridors. We suggest you book Lancelot should you require accessibility or have younger children.
We recommend you book your table in advance as all of our Afternoon Teas are made freshly that day.

For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking. Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less than 24hours prior to the booking. Additionally, should you cancel a confirmed booking on the day; we serve the right to keep the deposit and charge fully for the chosen menu based on the number of guests anticipated.

The information we ask for is required to make your booking and will only be used in relation to this purpose unless you opt-in to receive our newsletter. Our newsletter will contain news on events coming up, offers and relevant information linked with Carriages in Fen Drayton, Cambridge.
